CELTIC WOMENFEST : Mab Jones

Hello Folks
In my last post I said we were taking a year out ... with no funding at all this year, we just simply could not go ahead ... OR COULD WE!!

Just 2 months ago I was in Ireland performing at WORDS run by The Art Hand. Sean Corcoran who owns the Art Hand with his lovely wife Miranda, is the Artistic Director of Tramore Festival.

While I was over for Words Sean invited me to a meeting about the Festival and so the vision began: What if a group of 6 of us could be part of Tramore Festival?

Sean has worked tirelessly and thanks to Keith Daniels and Mary Daniels from Tramore Tourism, we have secured funding for 6 of us to travel to perform and be part of the Festival. Hoorah!

We will be accommodated by the good people of Tramore and Bonmahon. We can't wait!

The Festival will mark the Anniversary of the 4 rescue workers who were killed at Tramore 15 years ago. We feel very privileged to be invited.

We are so excited to welcome our extra special guest, this established and gifted Award Winning singer/songwriter from Scotland

She has a wide following in the UK and worldwide having toured with Tina Turner and secured several record chart in Europe.

She is noted mainly for her rich, sonorous voice, and The Scotsmen referred to her as "one of Scotland's all-time great vocalists, also possessed of a keen song writing intelligence".

Polly Patsy Tammy Pardon

is a composite Country and West Wales Singer.

With delusions of being related to the Country Divas but originally from the U.S. of K

she likes to spread sparkle, glitter and cleaning products wherever she goes.

Try as hard as she might, her music inspires WRITS not HITS, as she parodies some of country music's best known classics with Ninety Five, Doreen and I Will Always Hate You, and S.O.L.I.C.I.T.O.R. her own songs such as Lift Me Up Doctor Darling Please, Overweight But Over You and Bo The Dog have had audiences choke on their false teeth for all the wrong reasons.
